Looking at flights for next February and the best price with reasonable levels on convenience is coming out as Norwegian...

Tempted to to book but slightly concerned about whether they will still be going in February and if so whether they will have sorted their Dreamliners out by then!

What would the STW collective do?

Last I looked by the time you added in all their stealthy charges they were no cheaper than BA/Delta to NYC and back.

Flew to Iceland in April with Norwegian. Didn't actually know they had any 737 max aircraft (shocking, I work in the industry), until they texted me to apologise for using an 'inferior' aircraft.

surely by the time the 737max goes back into service, the industry will be satisfied all safety requirements have been met.

Norwegian have problems with both their 787s (engines) and their 737s (grounded for killing people).

They are also struggling financially as fuel prices have risen, travel has dropped, their fleet is grounded and people (such as yourself) are wondering... Fleet costs will be paid by Boeing and RR, but the cost of the company not growing for a year is going to be telling. The fact that BA didn't buy them (sold their stake) speaks volumes. I'd go BA.

Be a shame if they go under - flown them in Europe a couple of times and it’s been more than ok for the price.

It would be a shame as I like the company, I've flown with them a few times and I think the overall service is much superior to the other low budget airlines for perhaps 20percent more money.
But it's always been a tough industry and they've been unlucky with their fleet as above. I'd probably opt for EasyJet if they fly to the same place.
