Sorry for another hydroshot thread. I bought one, and it’s great for bike/car/general cleaning. Using it to clean paving/decking is a slow process tho.

Has anyone used it successfully with the Kartcher patio-cleaning accessories i.e. the spinning attachment? Not sure whether it’s meaty enough to drive them, even tho the specs suggest similar pressure to my old Karcher?

Cheers

I am not sure that it is up to the job or the sustained use. If you have remote area of decking and an unlimited supply of batteries, feel free to give it a shot. If there is mains power, a mains pressure washer will be a lot better. If you haven't bought your own body weight in batteries yet, you might be better buying a petrol pressure washer.

I've got a mains Karcher with the decking brush - no way would the Worx be powerful enough.

Yeah I fear this. I hd a mains karcher but sold it since neither have mains or an outside tap at the new house. I bought the ‘new’ hydroshot with the improved 24bar pressure but still down on the 110 of the mains karcher.

Deck scrubber and elbow grease it is then!

I went for the high powered one and have used it to clean a concrete path and patio. Wouldn't want to do much of any size with it as the battery doesn't have that sort of duration to flat.
