I'm currently thinking of replacing my current Hyosung Gt125r with a more upright bike due to my ongoing shoulder issue.
It's a great bike been totally reliable apart from side stand switch failure. But due to the very low clip ons it's getting painful to commute on.

Now I'm looking for a new 250-300cc naked commuter and the current options are

Kawasaki Z250sl
Kawasaki z300
Benelli Bn302

The Z250sl being single cylinder and the z300 and benelli a parallel twin.

Commute is 17 miles of A/B roads or the motorway.

I really like the benelli it has good brakes, decent suspension better tyres than the Kawasakis and looks and sounds very nice.

However it needs servicing every 2500 miles (oil and filter change) and is owned by a Chinese company who produce keeway bikes.

Both Kwaks are made in Thailand.

I do like to get my bike serviced by a local mechanic however I'm finding it difficult find basic things like oil filter, chain and sprockets which would mean doing dealer servicing.

The benelli has been getting rave reviews in India and Australia for its build quality, looks, and sound.

Worth the risk or not?
