The Mrs business uses WorldPay. We have no choice as the website and software provider we inherited only use them and Paypal.
Everything is difficult, customer services is useless, on hold for ages, web interface is terrible, statements completely confusing and they are expensive as well.

Yes. What a load of crap they are (especially the older version). The API is better but still not great. Fortunately it's really quite easy to replace with something better.
We've had world pay for years.
Normally they answer the phone straight away but I guess if visa is playing up again they are swamped.
Have you got Business Dashboard I find that useful.
Pricing wise you have to beat them down. They get pretty close to the no name people walking off the street quotes.
What problems are you having?
Try Stripe or Adyen if technical, both are much better.
If you are not that technical and need both physical+online it is worth having a chat to Payment Sense too - their dev support + standard support teams are pretty responsive of late and may lend more of a hand than most. They were the first of all the payment co’s I work with to proactively get in touch when the Visa fun happened.
