So I've been riding (motorbike) to work and the car hasn't really had a look in so it's time to sell it. Trouble is I'm struggling to work out how much to sell it for. 56 plate Skoda Fabia 1.2 with 39,000 miles but put a dent in the front wheel arch 🙁 Trying to work out if worth getting it repaired then selling it or selling it as is? MOT and tax up in June, recently replaced the ignition coils. I probably need to have a look at the tyres to see how much life is left but has run well for us (second owner and had it for a couple years)
I'd guess 2500. Can dentmaster help? Circa 50-80?
£1.8 - 2K Max with dent.
😯
Mileage is good though.
OP indie sellers throw a good valet and dent/tcut at a car. You'd be surprised how itll transform your car. I spent 80quid on a dirty/rough 24month old lease car before handback and it looked virtually brand new.
Price it along side the market going rate as generally, the other cars have a issue of some description on that age. Then if someone pops up with a genuine offer your in business. Worst that can happen is no-one will buy it at the higher price
Cheers I'll chat to local garage about sorting the dent as they've been helpful in the past. Sounds like a bit of spit and polish will help it move quicker. Next question is whether to put a new MOT and 6 months tax on it?
Get a quote from webuyanycar and add some. they valued our mini at £2.5 last week and I took £3.5 from buyer.
Fontmoss google a dentmaster. Theyll come to your home. Cheaper.
A new MOT will help sell, more so than tax as its roadworthy-at least to a set criteria.
