I've done all the steps recommended by WP 5 min easy install, but can't do the last, where I connect to the database and install WP to then start blogging.
Is there anything that I'm doing wrong?

Have you created the database, either on you're PC or if it's hosted, on your server space? From what I can remember you need to amend a file with the db name and password that you created and it will create all the tables it needs.

there is the wp-config.php file in the root of the wordpress installation that has the username, db name and dbserver name.
