Just for basic student/pupil use.
Adding photos/images and saving to PDF or Word format.
Probably to include a spell check and maybe offline storage for safety?
The google play store has loads but there are many conflicting reviews so I was wondering if anyone used any of them and what they thought?
Cheers

....work provides me with an ipad and we use the Pages app which is remarkably slick for basic documents with photos imbedded into it...so something like/the equivalent of that perhaps.

Whatever you do DON'T use Kingsoft Office. It is more shaky than a crack addict on cold turkey.

I'm looking for an app as well. Android Open Office doesn't work for me. Ideally it would be free, and be able to handle large (greater than 2mb) word documents without constantly freezing or closing as KO does.

Google Drive's word processor? Currently does everything on your list except handle images. If that's a deal breaker though...

Also cloud-based, so totally platform independent using it's web front end.

But you need to be online to use Google Drive. i've tried making documents available off line but it doesn't work for me.
