Does anybody have a worcester wave heating controller?
Is it as good as hive / nest etc.?
We have been offered one at a good price along with a new boiler.
One function that I can't seem to see is whether it will automatically switch your heating on based on proximity to home like the others do. Dont think it'll be worth the extra if it basically provides an on/off switch on your phone.
I nearly got one instead of the nest but at the time there was quite a big price difference, the biggest difference is that the wave can control the modulation of the flame depending on demand which should increase efficiency.
I've also not managed to get the nest working with geolocation yet, its google now integration isn't very good imho
We can get the wave a lot cheaper than the nest as we have a friend who works for bosch.
I've downloaded the app and had a play in demo mode, I [i]think[/i] it can do the geolocation, still not sure though. Might email WB and see.
