Hi all , my memories of woodwork at school were Mr Johnson and his enormous wart on his chin, plus how angry he got if you messed up a dovetail joint. Anyhow , times have changed and recently built a snowboard box rail and really enjoyed it....
I have learnt what a butt joint is , how to use a circular saw, why you drill pilot holes and how to countersink screws. All very easy for an experienced person but all new to me. Great fun.
What projects can I do at home to learn a little more about woodwork? Any good online resources ?
First thing, clear somewhere in your garage to use - nothing worse than taking 1/2 hour to get started and 1/2 hour to clear up.
