we need a new dining room table and chairs, needs to be extending, from about 120 to 150, solid wood and have pedestal legs, any suggestions?

assuming the 120-150 is the desired length in cm and not the budget!, what is the budget and preferred wood type? Also style (e.g. contemporary or traditional)? If you want an olde worlde one then I'd go around antique dealers - they seem to move a lot on prices for big pieces of furniture

Hi, you assume corrctly. Budget is £1,000 to £1,500.
Oak and would prefer a new table.
