Anyone else accidentally hit the button and tried to look in this forum? You are unable to view this forum It's like being back at school and you didn't see the sign above the door and just about walked into the girls toilet
Ended up a clipe telling the English teacher with a choice of punishment 3x the tawse or 50 lines I must not ever try to enter the female lavatory again
I wonder if there has been anyone rumbled for being an imposter yet ?
*gets comfy
Popcorn anyone?
Needless to say I took three of the belt from that sadistic English head of department
There will be many on this forum who have no idea what 2 of the belt feels like as it was outlawed but it was a good short sharp shock to get you to wrap up
Some teachers delighted in dishing it out
Haven't "accidently" popped in to try and have a nose but I am curious as to how it's going? Well, I hope, of course.
"Accidentally." Uh-huh.
There's precious few female contributors to the forum as it is. Leave it alone for goodness' sake.
I bet the place is all bitchy comments and handbags at dawn.

It was years after I left school before I knew how that was spelled.
Or Centre Parks and beakers.

Well you'd know all about that 😉
Wait, there's another forum other than the bike one?

Why did they need a separate forum again?
Wait, there’s another forum other than the bike one
There's a bike forum???
Are they talking about us over there?
Question
Why did they need a separate forum again
Answered

You flatter yourselves if you think we're that interesting.
So how do members verify they are a woman? Blood test, picture? Does Drac moderate this forum, is he a lady?
I bet it's very civilised isn't it? It is isn't it, very civilised?
I have so many questions.

Highly likely is less angsty and medicated like this side of the house.
Joking aside, in a perfect world the women of the forum would feel welcome and able to engage on the main forum, so shame on us that they felt they needed their own space. That said, I hope that it is providing the environment and support that they were after and it is successful - better to have a separate women's forum on Singletrack than have them all leave and go to a completely different forum altogether - though I know plenty of them exist as well.
(FWIW, I rode with our club's ladies group last week - I had free time on the Friday and asked if anyone was free to meet up and ride, and they invited me along, apparently after putting it to a vote. Only 6 of us out and I knew a couple of the ladies well from regular club rides, but it still felt very odd being the only bloke in the group.)
but it still felt very odd being the only bloke in the group.
That's quite normal for me on road rides - most of my road cycling buddies are female. The coffee stops are a nightmare as they all want to talk endlessly.
Gravel/off road rides are invariably lads only. Sadly there aren't enough of those.
it still felt very odd being the only bloke in the group
Slightly different demographic (maybe?) but I'm often the only bike in my running group. It never feels "odd" though.

I could see why you might on a bike though 😉
LOL - bloke =/= bike 🙂

Reporting you to the ladies forum.

And you don't come across as the talkative type Ernie 😕
