Hmmm....

With 3ft wider parking bays, you'd still get a daft bint parking across two bays!

😉

how about one outside town for the 4*4s
just a field, so they can get some mud on their wheels and make it look like they've got a good reason to have one in the first place?

and another one specially for bmw drivers with every space a designated disabled spot, seen as bmws seem to think driving a bmw's a disability

As long as the women haven't got huge people carriers or 4x4s. Ordinary bays are not designed for them.

Great idea of BigButSlimmer's :o)

Come on STW this topic deserves to hit 100. . . My personal belief is that women should be covered with headscarfs. 😉

Im ashamed to say i'm now proactive.

those poor efforts of parking, where the RangeRover/X5/Q7 is not quite in the space, possibly 6" over the line, which negates the space next to it.

ive taken to shoe horning my car into them.

not to fussed if my car gets scratched, as it will also scratch thier 50k behemoth.

it pleased me this weekend 🙂
just finished shoe horning it in to the space, and as i got out and left, the driver arrived and glared at me in a "move your bloody car" way.
ignored him, and enjoyed watching him clamber over from the passenger side.
HA! tool.

Don't need 'em, that's what the parent and child spaces are for, innit?

CHOMP

I feel for the people who park over two lines. I do it at the supermarket sometimes when I see the only space(s) are next to a car where the owner has zero respect for their own property (battle scars on edge of doors etc etc). I dont mind scratching my own property but I dont want anyone to scratch mine for me.

People who says cars are there to be used/scratched have zero respect for other peoples property. I'll never be able to afford a brand new M3 however (unlike some) I am not consumed by jealousy. If you are- get a better job?

How would you like it if I walked past and knocked your new/favorite bike down a wall and scratching it at a pub after your night ride and I said 'sorry mate, get over it, its only a bike'.

In addition, if a riding mate gave you a lift to a ride and you scratched his car with your bike- how would you feel?

Your car might be a company car or not worth much but mines paid for in cash and I want to get as much as possible for it when it comes to selling on.
Where needed I'll keep overlapping lines thanks.

im guessing thats for me hora?

i would never scratch someone elses car, i know where my corners are thanks. however someone with less respect for thier own property might be fine with swinging thier own car door into the side of my car, a car which i would avoid.

the point was that flash car owners are less likely to feel that way, so by parking an inch from thier car, i do not fear my car getting scratched. it will just force them to be mighty careful.

the lines are there for a reason, if you dont feel you fit in the space, find another space, at the back of the carpark
