My family is currently sitting in the next room watching 'Woman in Black' on Netflix. I get freaked out by ghost stories, so am working in the kitchen

The soundtrack alone is now going to make it difficult to be in the house on my own for the next few months.

😳

Thanks for that, Rorschach. 🙁

@Pik n Mix

That may be the case, but I would say that most ghost/horror films are. It doesn't make it feel any better when it ends, and you still have to get up to bed in a darkened house.

There was a TV version, some of which was filmed in Lacock. A bunch of us were in the Carpenters Arms across the road while they were filming, and you could only enter or leave when a bloke with a walkie-talkie gave permission. Great fun. And it was bloody spooky, with a genuine make you crap yourself moment in it as well. I don't think it's been shown on TV lately, sadly.
Here you go:

The Woman in Black (1989)
When a friendless old widow dies in the seaside town of Crythin, a young solicitor is sent by his firm to settle the estate. The lawyer finds the town...
