Anyone else watching this?

We’re on episode 2, it’s absolutely bonkers so far.

WTF is going on?

Got 20 minutes through the first one and gave up. The Guardian rates it.

If you’re only on episode two then buckle up as it just gets madder. I posted on the Netflix thread about it.

It’s absolutely off-the-chart insane! We just finished it and right up until the last minute we didn’t have a clue WTF was going on. It’s absolutely superb in a ‘WTF have I just watched?’ sort of way. Dark and twisted and really, really funny. A dream combination!

A great review from the Guardian, which sums it up nicely

Wolf review – this totally wild thriller has to be seen to be believed

@Caher - the first episode is just setting the scene and a bit slow. Stick with it as it goes absolutely mental from the beginning of episode 2

Agree. Worth sticking with. Utterly bonkers and a bit disturbing. Actually a lot. But interesting too. Loads of changes of pace and perspectives.

It’s a bit bonkers and the whole story relies on one stupid family.

I'm currently watching episode 1, it was really ringing a bell plot wise so I googled it and I've read the book it's based on so sort of know what to expect but so far so good!

Mrs TiRed is watching the second episode. It's a no from me. Lost interest. Although Bear is cute.

Watched episode one and didn’t really like it,    I think the characters in the book have much more depth and the tv version wasn’t a patch on it, so it’s a no from me. Hayder was a brilliant writer.

Mrs kilo hasn’t read the book and also watched episode one, she thought it was shite.

Hayder was a brilliant writer.

And she had an interesting life too.

Same here. Didn't bother with 2, despite the previews showing it had taken a weird turn. Just forgot it was on.

Watched #1 and wasn't sure what to think. Watched #2 and found it massively irritating and lost all interest.  Never bothered with the rest

Mrs dB gave up after ep1 but was out all eve Friday so I binged the rest, some great bits whilst others a bit "err what was the point in that" in particular not sure what the river people added to it all, the two coppers were fantastic though.

finished episode 2.

when does it start getting funny?

just seems like it's trying really hard to be 'edgy', so far

Yeah as others have said there were a lot of WTF moments but I really enjoyed the madness of it all!

Just entertaining to me. Didn't particularly think it was trying to be anything other than a bit different. YMMV.

Iwan Rheon was great fun

+1 to this

Just got to the end of episode six. Definitely worth sticking with, and a proper whodunnit.

Watched it, never really saw anything edgy, was pretty tame compared to shows like Hannibal or the likes, as stated above, it was entertaining and enough to keep going through the episodes, ending was a little weak after some of the build up, but still an improvement on a lot of the stuff that's been coming out on TV lately.
