Any of you peeps got recommendations wrt. the A40 and the road/ice conditions around that area?
I should be going to Eynsham from Somerset later, taking the A303-A34-A40.
But as we would would leave to return at midnight i'm unsure about roads near there. Pretty sure the A34 & A303 should be ok though, but...
It was all fine around Oxford today, I've been down the A40 as far as Witney from OXford and everything was clear and very very quiet.
Just take care when the roads start freezing back up again later on!!!
just came back that way and the section between Cumnor and Faringdon was completely blocked by a giant Mexican "day of the dead" carnival procession, again.
Main roads in Witney are fine today, the sun is out and the snow is melting fast.
Hmmm.... It's the freezing up & ice later that i'm worried about TBH.
