Need to make a temporary light to use whilst I sort out the insulation in the loft.
Have 2 X bathroom fittings to screw to a board.
Have 3 core flex for plug and 1/1.5mm grey cable..
How do I connect it up?
Go to B&M and buy two or three of these. (More = fewer awkward shadows)

you can buy large LED batton lights that just plug into a normal socket. run and extension lead up there, hang from a beam job done. I've actually made a small hole in the airing cupboard and run an extension lead semi permanently to a socket (take plug off to run cable and rewire) for my loft light.
Ignore that, misread the OP
I did my loft with an Exposure MaxxD at each end of the building, plenty bright enough.
In parallel
So live and neutral and earth into the plug - its a pain to do with 2+e but possible then l and n into one light fitting - l and n into the other light fitting
Its a right bodgeup tho and the old adage with electrics is if you need to ask don't do it. You could also use a junction box - flex from plug to junction box, and 2 live and 2 neutrals to the two fittings
