My Kitchen has two "banks" of cupboards with under cupboard LED lighting. The main kitchen light switch turns on one bank and a hidden switch (under the other bank) turns on the second bank of lights.

Is there a slave wireless switch that I can use that will turn on (and off) the second bank of lights when the first is turned on. First world problem I know.

My googling only finds remote control ones with rather than a master/slave arrangement.

I'm an electronic engineer so may have to make my own, but don't really do "busmans holiday" work.

This is probably not what you're after but you could fit wireless type bulbs to both and use a remote switch. Kind of double or quits on the wireless but would then have both operating off a single switch.

I did this in our hall as it needed more lights. I could connect into the ring through the ceiling but didn't want to chase down the wall for a switch so fitted Philips Hue bulbs and switch.

With wireless bulbs you can then operate from a switch, phones, programme timers or even use Alexa if you are into electronic intruders. Probably need to decide which system you might want to live with in other places before investing. Hue seemed a sensible choice for us for lights but does (or at least didn't) even attempt to control the heating, telly etc.

Been doing lot of research lately into smart lighting! These are looking like the most versatile solution to a lot of problems: https://shellystore.co.uk

Basically a range of different smart wi-fi relays. Going to try some myself on my awkward light fittings that you can't get smart bulbs for! (it actually solves another problem as well, because you can use your existing dumb switch - which is a pain with Hue)

Depends on the wiring in your switch but there might be a solution that works. The slave relay can be programmed to turn on/off with the master one, either using their own cloud-app or apparently they also work out of the box with MQTT which you can run on your own server.

This might work. Though you would need two receivers and one switch.

You could use Z-Wave relays to achieve this (with a Smarthings hub).
Cost about £200 all in (hub + relay + switch) but cheaper if you fancy fiddling & have a spare RaspberryPI or something else that can run the hub software.

Versternet is a good site to buy this stuff and look at the guides but effectively you'd install a relay in the master switch which would send a signal, when activated, to the switch in the 2nd fitting to turn on. It is easiest if you have a neutral wire to the switch but in your instance, you can probably do it at the ceiling rose as it's just 2 circuits.
