I've been thinking about getting some wireless earphones for a while and the whole Prime Day thing might be enough to get me to do something about it, so what are the recommendations of the STW hive mind?
My current wired earphones are some sort of Sennheiser Momentum 2s, so reasonably nice and I'm prepared to spend a bit of money (£100 or more) on a decent set of wireless earphones, but I'm not sure that my ears are finely tuned enough to want to shell out ungodly amounts for a real audiophile experience.
Amazon and random reviews online seem to be pushing me towards the Sony WF-1000XM4, or the WF-1000XM5 if I want to be really spendy, with Momentum True Wireless 3/4 being the roughly equivalent Sennheiser offerings. I've had decent times with Sony and Sennheiser wired earphones in the past so that does mean I tend to look for those brands first so I don't know if I'm missing anything obvious elsewhere.
Any good recommendations? Anyone spotted good prices for things they'd recommend?
I'm quite impressed with these Sony WF-C500 after a recomendation on here, and they currently have a good discount, I think I paid ~£50 and they are currently £40, so represent superb value.

Make sure to try out the different sized included rubber bits - it thought they were lacking in bass at first but I was using the wrong size and it wasn't the size I thought I'd need!
They dont have active noise cancelling, as that would push the price up, and shorten battery life, so that's a win-win for me really.
Thanks!

My M2s are wireless or wired - are you after wireless earbuds? I have Sony WF-C700s which are pretty good, but the M2s are still better for "proper" listening
Yes, I'm after wireless.
Bose 700
Thanks, but they seem to be headphones rather then earphones. Or is my terminology horribly out of date, should I be saying earbuds? For some reason that term doesn't sound right to me!
I had Soundcore Liberty 2s (I think) but managed to lose them on hols. Replaced with Sony WF-700Ns. Was tempted by the WF1000s, but decided I didn't need the extra performance for my old ears! The build quality isn't great (Esp the case) but the sound quality is an improvement on my lost ones.
I wanted the NC and it works well in adaptive mode. Agree with poster up there, worth trying different sizes of bud- they are very compact in your ear and don't feel like they're going to fall out. I reckon I could run / ride with these no problem even tho they aren't specifically gym/activity marketed.
I also like Sennheiser headphones - have momentum 4s, but again decided the bud versions were too pricey.
Child 1 really likes his Beats earbuds. Seem to be teenager proof and he's had them for a while now.
