Watched it last night with the kids, 1st Marvel film I've actually seen. I thought it was a bizzare mix of The Matrix and Wallace & Grommet and I commend it to the bored.
Will have to watch some more Marvel films I think.
Have to say I really like the whole set. It's best to watch the whole set in the right order otherwise you have all sorts of references to things you don't know about e.g. Thor 2 refers back to the Avengers film etc...
Superhero films are generally utterly tedious.
Although Guardians Of The Galaxy was brilliant.
Guardians and Avengers prob the best, the stand alone films not quite as good.
Winter Soldier was a bit better than the first one, but then that was very dull.

For me, superhero films are ok, watchable. I've watched enough for the universes to become a bit more meaningful which helps. Although Agents of Shield knocks them all into a cocked hat 🙂
Guardians of the Galaxy though was disappointing. Funny superficially, but the plot and direction was woeful. Kind of like a shop bought cake with great looking icing but tasteless sponge inside.
