You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
My decathlon jacket needs replacing as the elastic cuffs has broken and the lining is flaking off. It's a rain jacket with mesh liner, propper pit zips and pockets. Although I rarely ride in the rain, it's been the perfect jacket for 8° and below and keeps the wet mud off my back. The current decathlon jackets have no pit vents so no good for me. I bough an Altura Nevis but had to return it as the pit vents are tiny.
Any recomendations for a winter jacket under £100?
Already have a packable rain jacket but it has no vents.
Size small.
Not fluorescent.
Propper pit zips.
No hood. Unless it packs away.
Doesn't need to be water proof as long as it's wet mud proof.
I'd be trawling though there different sports sections at Decathlon, as you'll definitely find one with pitzips. Otherwise, I have high praise for Endura Singletrack, yes it a cycling jacket but mine been fine for dog walking duties, as my decathlon one is hiding some-where. Not quite a full on winter jacket but with layering, I don't see the need (on the bike) for anything thicker. Hood rolls up and has a strap, and can be found discounted for less than £100, I've been much more impressed with my Singletrack, over my last years decathlon jacket.
I have an Endura stealth in small that I have been meaning to sell.
It's got pit and side vents.
Wouldn't want a lot for it.
Let me know if of any interest.
If you fancy a Stealth and want a new one, there's a small for £60 on eBay (not mine).
What colour is your Endura Stealth?
Red
If you can find the old model Altura Attack that could be perfect- they were still around in XL and S last time I looked for one. The pit zips are more torso zips, they start almost at the hip and go right round into the upper arms, with a double ended zip so you can decide what's open.
