I ordered a jacket from these guys on Tuesday and decided to give them a buzz to see what the status was. Good job I did as it seemed to jog their memory that I had placed an order. "We do have one in stock and will make a note to send it out Monday"

Rubbish service. Having to chase up an order as a result of a company being too disorganised to keep you updated with status is the killer for me when deciding whether to use a shop again for stuff.

I live near the shop, you get the feeling it is chaos when you go in
Used to be much worse when they were over the pram shop

Ah.... glad you said. I have had a few nightmares with them quite a while ago (5+yrs), but they always have good prices and I was considering giving them another shot. Think I'll look elsewhere...

My mate bought a bike off them & saved a fortune on the original RRP, delivered promptly enough & even had good service when the seatclamp broke. However I'm still cautious of what I order online, owt that might have to go back is a no-no unless the price is worth the risk!

I've had decent experience with them, wouldn't use them for anything urgent but things have arrived and at a good price.

I've had no issues with them when I've used them. Great prices and prompt delivery. Had 2 sets of bargainous forks and several pairs of shoes from them in the past.

they have good prices, and good service if its in stock, but about 70 % of there stuff is never in stock. im at the end of my second week waiting on a chainring. saying that hope hoops were out in 2-3 days and an e13 device that wasnt in stock was out in about 7 days. just this chainring has made them lose my future service.

The pram business is doing much better than the bike business, the brother who runs the pram side is damn sharp.

I've cancelled my last 3 orders from them. If they've got keen prices I'd rather go to someone I know will deliver and ask them to price match.

I've only used them once to buy a bmx, had exactly the same experience as the op. called them as I had no order confirmation and got the 'oh hold we've got one in the warehouse we'll send it today', never used them again.

I've never ordered online from them, but the shop does seem chaos at times.

I think they concentrate more on the mail order side, but then again lot of places like Winstanleys which are on a Industrial estate are the same ( thinking Ribble )

If you are not certain exactly what you want when you go in the shop, they put you on a PC to look through their website and, last time I did that ( think I wanted some grips ) lots of stuff was out of stock.

Do people seriously still try and buy stuff from these jokers ...?? Even 7 years later the diabolical experience of dealing with them has not faded from memory .. never, ever, ever again.

Yeah when they finally sent me the wrong fork I had to pay the return, and then sent them the receipt... 6 weeks of my life I never got back.

Now they really do suck. After telling me they had one item in stock that they would ship Monday, I get an email today telling me that their supplier is out of stock and do I want a refund.

You wonder how these muppets remain in business!
