Looking for a windproof beanie, to be used for hill walking, not riding specific.
Any suggestions?
MHW does one, but it has to be bloody cold before it makes sense ime. outdoordesigns too.
Cheers for that, the MHW is looking good.
sealskins do a waterproof one
I've got a Smartwool "The Lid" merino beanie. Probably not as out-and-out windproof as something with a shell like the MHW, but seems to keep the worst of it out and definitely ticks all the boxes as far as I'm concerned for comfort.
I've got a Mammut one with a layer of Windstopper in the front which is great. Only the front bit has Windstopper so the rest is still very breathable. Looks good too.

I use a fleece lined goretex cap. Berghaus. It has a peak and covers the ears at the sides. Its shit hot.
