Mrs FD and myself share a calendar so that we can both up date the diary as and when we want, and there can be many entries per day!

Jnr FD is in school now, and to be honest he has that much stuff going on that a calendar just for him would be really useful.

However as far as I can tell you can only have 1 live tile calendar on your phone? It would be great to have 1 tile for Mrs FD and my calendar, and the a separate 1 for Jnr FD.

Does anyone know how you can do this?

Ta

Tried doing something similar myself...

Failed. There must be some kind of calendar app thing that's not the native WP one.

use the family room

go to people hub, and rooms

invite whoever you like and appointments, photos and messages will show up there, plus in your calendar in a different colour

i use it with the missus to keep my life in control, or so she says

Why separate? You can put your own and someone else's on the same calendar, and have them colour coded... Not good enough?

As I say Mrs FD and I use one diary for a work commitments etc and that already can have lots of entries per day.

It would be good just to have a separate one for Jnr FD so I can just glance at it so I know which day he needs PE kit, reading book etc.

On once calendar it would be too much stuff.

I will look at 3rd party, but I cant see how you would then be able to share that on Mrs FD's windows phone, and our home ipad and Windows laptop...

The calendar itself exists as a separate entity on Google, Live, whatever. The app is just an interface to display or edit it. So it's entirely possible for an app to display them separately. You could even get a 3rd party app displaying one calendar the native app another.

Updates tk that calendar from a 3rd party app would be no different to the updates from the Windows one.

Just get a second calendar app and only hook it up to that calendar.
