I'm new to Windows. Can do anything on a Mac so it's frustrating.
Trying to get Zwift to work on a PC and in the Paird Devices window on Zwift, both the Ant+ and Bluetooth icons have an exclamation mark. Any ideas? I've looked in control panel but it just tells me the same.
Trainer and HRM connect fine to my old Mac and Phone so it's definitely a Windows issue.
Do you have bluetooth and/or ANT+ ?
That means both are off or absent.
If the pc has integrated Bluetooth turn it on in settings.
If it doesn't you need a usb ant stick or bluetooth dongle.
Have both. Bluetooth built in, and an Ant+ dongle. Control panel see the dongle.
Out of date bluetooth driver, try windows update settings, and check the optional updates, which is a seperate list to the critical ones.. Alternativley, if the BT device is built into the motherboard, see if theres a software/driver update for the motherboard.
Or disabled? open device manager and check it's not set to disabled.
Ant+ dongle - download fresh software from the dongle manufacturers website.
What version of windows?
Also if its a machine provided by your employer, certain funtions might be disabled by admin.
It's not a work laptop do no restrictions.
Bluetooth enabled.
The Ant+ dongle was bought from Wiggle; not sure what brand it is. I didn't need a driver on the Mac but will investigate.
Windows 11 I think.

Macs eh?
If you already have a Mac and are used to it, why would you take a mighty leap backwards and buy a Windows machine?

My Macs too old to run the current version of Zwift and I can't afford a new computer. All I have access to is my partners laptop.
Try running the companion app on your phone for Bluetooth, I find it more reliable than the onboard Bluetooth. There are a lot of different Bluetooth chipsets and drivers on windows compared to Macs, and compatibility can sometimes cause an issue,
Right click on the start button (I think) and open device manager. That’s sort of like the system report on the mac, will flag up any attached devices that are unknown or have driver issues. If either Bluetooth or the ant dongle show up in there with an exclamation mark, right click and update driver, try using the search option which will use windows update. If that fails go to the manufacturer website and find the appropriate driver.
It says no drivers available for the Ant+ dongle.
On Win 10 I sortrd the same issue by removing the dongle in device manager, then properly shutting down before restarting... then let windows fully boot up before reinserting the dongle, presto, it found it and installed the driver automatically.
Just a cheap no brand dongle too, cheapest on eBay job.

You should be able to download the appropriate driver from the manufacturer's website.
Is it the lifeline ant+ dongle?
Try following this guide to get it going:

My 2010 MBP only supports BT v1, so doesn't work with any modern BT devices. Simple solution would be a USB BT dongle, but you can't get drivers for them!
