having kept away from smart phones (loving my k800i) i have been given a htc sense running windows mobile.
so the phone is no iphone which is a bonus to me, is the phone any good upgradable if it has any short comings or just a complete lemon and stay with what i have.
let the kickin begin:)

which one?

HTC sense is HTC's user interface over the top of windows mobile.

for upgrading - look on XDA-developers.com

It was a reasonable phone in its time. It's running the 'old' version of WinMo though, so your options might well be pretty limited as to apps etc.

Still, if it's free, there's one way to find out whether you like it, no?

ok, if it is a HD2 - then internally the 1GHz processer and RAM is still fairly good - had mine for 2 years from when it first came out.

I personally like the WinMob with sense on this phone.

but in terms of upgrading it then the folks at XDA dev have been able to put Android Gingerbread and Sandwich onto the phone.
