There is a Canon website which you can get free driver updates from.

Have you tried the Canon web site support pages and downloaded the latest drivers? Driver compatability is normall just a function of the OS, not the browser software

When it "won't print web pages," what happens? Nothing? Error message? Blank printout? Corrupt printout?

Is it all web pages or just some? (Sometimes printers get confused with Frames).

Tried a different browser? Is it still the same?

It looks like drivers are included with the OS rather than provided by Canon - there are no drivers for it at all on the regular support page. I did find a legit software download page here (eventually), there's a driver add-on which claims to "expand the functionality of the printer," probably won't make a fig of difference but worth a punt.

Dunno what updates you found but at £25 it sounds scammy to me.

Convoluted work around.
Use the xps document writer (similar to making a pdf microsoft’s product though), select it as the printer when in IE9. Then open up the file you created and print that. More detailed explination of xps writer here http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Print-to-the-Microsoft-XPS-Document-Writer

Do you use any sort of temporary file cleaner type program?

See this, specifically the warning and fix under "method 2".

How are you printing the web page?

IIRC, Cannon have a magic button/toolbar which they add to IE?

Sounds like it's not compatible with IE9.

Bod from Canon replied that its a IE 9 problem so back to microsoft which is effectively nowhere. Also, is IE9 mainstream now or Beta? If its Beta then the opnion is that it will have to be uninstalled t some point.

Couldnt get the xps printing option working so its stil borked....
