I'm sure on some computer - maybe this one in the past - the windows snapped to the edge of the screen nicely. But it's not doing it now.
Anyone?

what windows ? You mean prorammes like yr browser, msoffice etc or the desktop picture or something else ?

Drag to edge, let go. Windows-arrowkey will do it too.
Might well be possible to disable the feature, mind.

ah, the programme windows then - I see
not folder windows (I'd be well narked if they opened up full-screen), or the windows desktop failing to use all the monitor, or ...
