So, my mate has bought his daughter an Asus laptop for xmas and on setting it up she has selected German instead of English. They cannot get it to go back to change the language and it's still in pre set up.
Any ideas guys? Cheers.
Go to settings (click on the flag bottom left), third item up from the bottom.
Time and language is second in on the second row. Region and language is the second menu item on the left.

You are probably best letting it complete the set-up in German, if you can, then change it when complete. Just accept the defaults if you can't understand the set-up dialogs.
Cheers Rich, can they do that if it's still in the set up mode? I think they were installing Windows and they got it into German and they want to go back a step to change the language to complete the initial set up.
Will tell them to give that a go. Cheers
Sorted now, cheers fellas.
Check for updates, there was a huge update over Christmas (about three hours worth). Whilst some niggles have vanished others have appeared. Having the update before you start setting up will avoid redoing some things and mean you don't have to deal with others.
