I clicked download by mistake. Anyone had problems. Is it worth upgrading?

The laptop is mainly used by MrsWCA for web browsing so nothing important either way.

Just wondering what will change

(also, "download" and "install" aren't the same click.)

I like it (and I believe I'm the only man alive who's chosen tablet mode for my PC)

If you're currently on W7, it's quite different and might take a little bit of getting used to

If you're currently on W8, chances are you'll like it better

I like it but I've had a few programs misbehave, the worst being eSet which requires an update and Chrome which just hangs every few minutes on one of my machines. I'm not sure I would bother if you are happy with what you have right now

I was on W8 and upgraded. I like it but my touch pad stopped working and I had delete the driver for it and restart for it to start working again. But now I've lost 2 finger scrolling! 👿

Coming from 7 I'd be in two minds (and, am).

Coming from 8, I'd tear their bloody arms off for it.

Had an issue where the start menu & Cortana stopped working, but managed to get it to work by hitting F8 repeatedly while it booted up. There is a longer-term fix out there as well if you google for it, so I tried that and it seems to have worked so far...

I liked it at first - then similar problems to stealthcat - after a few weeks I went back to 'stable 7' [ side note wasted hours fixing it - elementary OS linux up and running in 20mins ]

If you use the touch features a lot on Windows 8, you might not like 10.

Disable Hyper-V before you install it (if you don't know what that is, it won't be enabled)...

I got that too! Annoying or what? Lenovo by any chance?

Great. Installed but it won't let me log on. User name and password are not complex and not changed but it won't let me log on.

What do I do?,?

Edit
Now I can't turn it off or restart it. Thinking of battery removal reboot
