Wimbledon isn't really about sport though, its about the event. I bet most of the people who watch it have absolutely no interest in watching other tennis tournaments.
It's better for spectating than a lot of other sports but it's still watching instead of doing so I'm not too bothered either way.

AFAIK Murray, being Scots, is not "Home Counties", nor are his family esp. middle class (whatever that means these days), tho he is now a multi-millionaire and 4th best player in the world thanks to his talent and commitment.
I like Mac - he was real bad-ass back in the day - shook the game up with his raw athletic energy and aggression. Still a motor-mouth.

True, but it might improve their game. Often when watching them play, I think that one or two of them could do with a brutal service.
