They're getting beaten off Stoke with just a couple of kicks left.

I was saying to some work colleagues this week, if Stoke beat them, he's gone. But at 30M as a pay off, he won't walk.

Here's the thing though - who do they get to replace him?

Looks like you've won a few quid then. 1-0 Stoke FT.

Yup 😀 Just checked. Result!

That's Chelsea and Newcastle that have earned me a few quid today and that's my first bet of the season - wish I'd done the cumulative thingy-bob.

EDIT: ..and no, he won't get sacked yet, but I'm not putting any money on that.

They don't play any better without him in the stadium then
Please don't sack him, watching the self destruction is quite amusing

I predicted three weeks ago that he wouldn't make the end November as it seems pretty obvious to me that he's lost the dressing room and once that happens it's a slippery slope to the sack....even for him!

But then I am a Gooner who detests the odious ( but highly talented ) man.

....and it gets worse. My phone has just received a Sky News alert, a steward at Stoke has make a complaint to the ref accusing Costa of assault

Couldn't make it up!

I thought McClaren would be the first to go this year but nope, I'm sure it'll be Mourinho.

They're stupid if they do. Much we are all loving and overdue some mourinho based schadenfruede, he is still, despite this blip, in the top two or three managers in the world.

I've never been a fan of sacking a manager after a few poor results, but for that smug bastard, I'll make an exception.

Nice to see the mighty 'orns 5 points above Chelsea.

I'd like to see him work his way through it and I'm not a Chelsea fan. I do like Mourinho though, I like his arrogance- especially when it's backed up with wins, it makes it less arrogant somehow, I like the way it winds people up.

This. Unless you've got Simeone or Guardiola lined up then you're mad. Fire him as Chelsea manager, PSG hire him the next day, and you spend the next 5 years with your head in your hands.

I really don't like chelski, but I find Jose very interesting and struggle not to like him. He not you our usual robotic cliched merry go rounder, and he's great entertainment.

It's great to see john Terry drop off the edge though. **** of a man.

One article I read suggested that yes he has lost the majority of the dressing room due to his treatment of the Doctor&Physio who worked with the players every day.

Liverpool stole a march on them by getting rid of Rodgers and bringing in Klopp. Can't see who would replace him unless they put someone in temporary charge, as they've done in the past, before trying to get Pep next summer.

Pep will have some thinking to do. Man Utd or Chelsea?

As much as I enjoy seeing Mourinho's downfall and possible exit, I'd hate to see the ****s bring in Ancelotti. Would like to see him turn them down after how they treated him last time. Would love to see him oust LVG too.

Funny old game, as a Newcastle fan if you told me in July that 12 games in we would be a point behind Chelsea I'd have been very happy.
Whichever way it goes it will be a big payday for Jose.

He does seem to be suffering consequences of his own ill thought out actions. I'm surprised he has handled things so poorly but maybe his arrogance needs a reality check. Trouble is football now rewards success will above moral fortitude so he'll be in demand for a while yet even if he continues as is. He's a clever guy though so he will learn but meanwhile publicly we'll get more of the same whinging soundbites about persecution blah blah.

Please done sack him, I'm enjoying this run. Congratulations to the mighty Stoke and Hughes, how sweet a win that must have been.

With the oil price down so low and the Russian economy in free fall I wonder whether lack of available funds is really the issue as its been clear Chelski need a total overhaul so where was the money this summer ?
