2nd hand? Yes but not by loads, apple kit retains it's value well & the 5 is hardly a 'slow or old' phone by most ppl's std's.. though some ppl would suggest they were over priced to start with.

theres bound to be a lot of second hand phones with apple warranty remaining on them popping up, for example my 5s will shortly be for sale as I've preordered the new phone.

The 5S and 5C are both substantially cheaper now than they were a week ago, albeit with reduced storage options as they move down the range.

5S 16GB was £549, now £459. 5C was £469 for 16GB, now there's just an 8GB model for £319.

Depends where you look.

Purchase prices direct from Apple may have come down, but upgrade prices for contracts are still expensive.

O2 want to charge me more to upgrade to a 5s than to a 6.

Go figure that one out.

not by much

i was looking to get a 5s, but they have dropped the 64gb altogether,, you can get one boxed on ebay but they are about £550 - versus £619 for the 64 gb iphone 6

so ive ordered one of them, prob keep it 2.5-3years hopefully,,

Providers did deals on the bigger capacity leading up to the launch, I got the wife one for 'free' £25 month package.

If it's any help, another forum has had 2 x 5s, both grey 32GB, sell for £350 each in the last couple of days as their owners prepare for #tehnushiny.

That seems around the price I would expect, assuming they had 6+ months of warranty on them. As brand new 16GB ones are going for £400 on eBay.

The carriers have good deals on things like the 32gb 5c … I ordered one last week, should be arriving tomorrow.
An 8gb iphone is pointless.

It's fine for corporate use.

Spoke to an ee guy today. 5s and 5c will get discounted next week when 6 launched. He did show me the costs but I didn't write them down. Limited storage on 5c though but 5s ok in 32gb.

Need to change from personal to business before I upgrade the 2 4's I have. How long does that take?

O2's upgrade pricing on the 5s is insane, £38 a month and £50 up front is the cheapest tariff, my 4 is playing up so needs replacing, almost makes me want to jump to 3 if it wasn't for the fact they have no real 2G fallback now and the customer service seems to be terrible by all accounts......
