Will I get scammed?

I was on holiday recently in Spain and paid for a massage. I very stupidly used PayPal to pay and now realise that my name and address could have been on the payment which the recipient could see.

What are the chances of me getting scammed? What should I look out for?

If this was a legitamate business and not some seedy back street 'massage' why do you think you would get scammed?

If you haven't been scammed yet then you are probably okay as they tend to act quickly. I had my credit card scammed in a restaurant in Madrid and had bought 2 massive TVs in Toronto before I had left the building.

What should I look out for?

Large sums of money (or indeed, small ones) suddenly disappearing from your bank account.  An STI and a degree of awkward conversations with any current partner you may have retained.  "Deep tissue" friction burns.  Faux scorn from a cycling forum.

Low hanging fruit (ahem) jokes aside, you'll probably be fine.  Probably.  Paypal is generally pretty secure in and of itself and it'd take more than a postal address to pull the wool over your

I think you pay extra for access to those swipe machines.

"Your flexible friend?"

"That'll do nicely."

&c.

I would have thought cold, hard cash would have been the better option for purchasing these types or services?

And out of interest, where would this massage parlour be? Just to ensure I can avoid it, of course 🤣
