I had smoked salmon at weekend with toasted muffin, scrambled eggs and creme fraiche with lemon zest, juice & pepper.

Bloody awesome it was.

But yes, you may die.

if you're lucky there'll be just enough botulinum toxin in there to make you look younger

Does it smell funny? If not it's good to go

It will be fine, unless the packet is distended with nasty gases. If it's still flat, eat it.
(disclaimer, if I'm wrong, tough)

You'll be fine. Use your eyes and your nose. If you don't want it, I'll have it.

I ate some peppers from a jar that were over ten years out of date. Fine. 🙂

Well you won't die IMO (Not medically qualified btw) but it might not be at it's best... worse case scenario is you become more familiar with HotTrap Syndrome.

If you do die, would you mind posting a warning on here so we know not to do it too?

Defrost for 12-24hrs in the fridge and then use it.. it'll be fine, we've got some that over a year old now & I ain't throwing it out!

Anyone fancy coming over for dinner?
(the 12 years old stuffing didn't kill us the other week)

If it's vacuum packed, pop it in a sink of cold water. It'll be done in a few minutes.

I have some smoked salmon from our local smoke house in the freezer. It's been there since June last year, I'm gonna eat it one day.

I have made a will.

No, no you lot aren't in it.
