I've got an entry for the Devil of the Highlands in 2 weeks.

Last week hotel rooms were affordable. Now they aren't.

There must be a place I can rough it for the night?

Please help...

There's a campsite in Tyndrum still?

Are you travelling by train?

No spaces from what I can see @scotroutes.

Train or maybe lift.

You've checked both Tyndrum Holiday Park and By The Way?

I was going to suggest Glen Orchy if you'd been driving. Bridge of Orchy is popular and on the train line but times might not work for you.

There's a couple of campsites, one in Tyndrum itself and one a couple of miles down the road.

Are you in car and able to drive?

Phone the By The Way campsite. He'll squeeze you in if just a small tent.

Ask on the race facebook group if someone can give you a lift up from a hotel down near Alexandria (assuming you can get a hotel down there) ?

There is a big grass area outside the Real Food Cafe with a car park that folk overnight in (in cars) - but the ask is not to leave vehicles in Tyndrum for the day....
