Right bought one for the kids xmas, it came with two of those two part nunchuck controllers and a remote. What do I need to buy to allow all four of us to play motion sensitive games? Normal controllers or more of those nunchucks?

I thought it depended on the game?

As far as I know you need 1 controller for each player. Some games also require a numchuck, So for most games 4 players will need 4 controlers. Some games might need 4 controllers and 4 numchcks (but I think this is unusual) .

The motion sensors are called "MotionPlus". Newer "Wiimote" controllers have them built in rather than requiring a separate add-on. These are the ones to get.

As a bare minimum, you need one Wiimote per player. The nunchuck adapters are required for some games but not all; get them if your budget stretches to it. (Have you really got one controller and two nunchucks? The 'chucks are useless on their own.)

1 controller for each player. If it's a motion+ game such as wii sports resort etc, you'll need a motion+ adapter for every wii remote (it slots into the bottom), and likewise you'll need a nunchuk for every controller if it's a nunchuk game.

I think some controllers have motion+ already included now.

Stuff like Mario Kart only needs four standard controllers.

What games are you wanting to play?

Now I'm really confused. What are you calling a "controller" here? The Wiimote is the controller.

There are also "classic" controllers, but they're only for the retro online games and don't have anything to do with the nunchucks.

If you have two "controllers with nunchucks" and one without, then you need one more Wiimote and two more nunchucks for a full set. (And MotionPlus adapters for any Wiimotes that don't have the functionality built in.)
