I have just taken delivery of a new bike from wiggle and the saddle height is bang on.

When ordering they insist on your height and inside leg. Is that too make sure you have ordered the correct size or do they set the saddle to an approximate height based on the information?

Probably both. It's a nice bit of service - not for the pros like us on STW ( 😉 ) but probably for many amateurs who wouldn't have a clue otherwise.

My saddle was about six inches too high when I unpacked my road bike a few years back. Maybe they are getting better.

When I ordered my bike from them it didn't even have a saddle on it.

Nor did it have any wheels, handlebars, pedals, cranks, brakes or gears.

Useless.

I might start a thread about them.

I also got a free set of Smart lights (not much use for a track bike but nice touch anyway).

The free bag of Haribo should vary in size depending on your expenditure

So it did have a seat post, stem and fork?

Aren't those just parts of the handlebar, saddle and wheels.
