So I see that Wiggle have removed their FREE delivery option.

They seem to have adopted a sliding scale....

£1.99 - delivery in about 5 days (even to a collection point)
£2.99 - delivery in about 3 days
£3.99 - delivery next day

That means that the 18mm long Shimano Brake Nut thingy that was £3.99 is going to cost me £5.98! So I'm going to my LBS on the way home 😆

Great idea, they must have been losing a lot on the silly small stuff, encourages you to spend a little more or not buy the stuff that runs at a loss

Is it not just the case that you only get free delivery once you've spent a certain amount? CRC have been doing this for a while now

Standard Delivery

FREE for baskets with a value of £9 or higher.

A £1.99 delivery charge is applied to baskets below £9 total value.

Within 4 working days
Orders are processed as normal and shipped by RoyalMail Tracked 48 or Yodel courier service for larger parcels.

The warehouse can choose to upgrade the order to courier.

Buy £9 worth of stuff, send back (for free) what you don't want = free delivery. One thing I've noticed is even though CRC have largely the same stuff, dispatching from the same ware house, prices can be different so check both.

tredz is free delivery
wiggle and CRC have always been free over £9
(high 5 tabs, inner tubes, socks are always good to hit the £9 spend)

Free delivery of non-existent items doesn't help much! (Tredz)

Wiggle was previously free regardless of item cost, changed in the last few years. I always seem to spend more than £9 and always use Free delivery option which typically arrives within 2 days.

A £9 basket for free delivery at Wiggle/CRC is a lot more palatable than a £100 basket required at PX these days! 😆

And in the really good days it would nearly always arrive the next day.

Remarkable amount of stuff available on Amazon Prime these days... find myself checking there first now! especially cheap consumables, turn up the next day with free shipping.

Thanks guys - I hadn’t realised there was a minimum spend required.

Anyway LBS came up trumps!

Cycle Studio, Stratford Upon Avon gave me two different length versions.

Perfect 8)
