I've got a Wifi router in the house and have ran a Cat5 cable into the shed, what box do I need in the shed to get wifi from the house router?

Is it just an Access Point like this?

https://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-Link-TL-WR841N-300Mbps-Wireless-Supports/dp/B001FWYGJS
Thanks,

Rob

A wireless access point, not a router.

One like this would be my choice.

ive done exactly this.

I used one of these:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/NETGEAR-Wi-Fi-Range-Extender-EX6120/dp/B01560JGQW/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=netgear+extender&qid=1576590340&s=computers&sr=1-1

it was about 20 quid in Currys.

I think most "wifi exenders", have multiple modes.
you can set them to echo a wireless input as a wireless output
you can set them to act as wifi recievers and output to a cable (into a desktop or whatever), or they can be set to "access point mode", signal in on a cable, and out as wifi.

Its got its own wifi name (SSID), and its own password.
I think you can change the settings to lower its priority when your devices can see both networks.

it didnt take long to set up, just plug it in, turn it on and go straight to its IP address once youve connected to set up the internet connection and fiddles its settings. I set it up using my mobile fine.

Thanks for the responses, I've gone with ajaj's link. I had seen it but then saw the one I posted a little cheaper. The wifi extender looks alright but I want to plug an old desktop into it to and it didn't look like it supported that.
