Is it on ITV? They always do.

Other than that, dunno.

One of the better Bond films, much better than the following Skyfall for a start.

I liked Skyfall but QoS is better.
I remember watching Lethal Weapon late at night (ITV) and the the word "ass-hole", used a few times, was dubbed into "air-hole". Ridculous.

There is a scene in Beverley Hills cop where the dubbing of the constant swearing just becomes a joke. No lip sinking at all and the whole scene (movie)is rendered pointless

But to my mind the worst crime is the censoring Ghost busters

Ray Stantz: Everything was fine with our system until the power grid was shut off by dickless here.
Walter Peck: They caused an explosion!
Mayor: Is this true?
Peter Venkman: Yes it's true. This man has no dick.

First time seeing Aliens on TV. Vasquez unloading the magazine of the BIG gun down a corridor:

Was just rated the worst ever by The Times last week. That terrible CGI scene where he surfs down the Glacier and then across a wave is enough evidence for me...

Yes, come on - QOS (I can't even bear to type that title out in full) is right up there with the worst of the Roger Moore era, with none of the 'let's take the piss out of ourselves' to lessen the blow.

Let's just hope that the new one has a decent villain, rather than the slightly effete examples we've had in the previous Craig Bonds.

Is Skyfall the one that turns into Home Alone at the end?

From repoman
"flip you melon farmer"
The non swearing version is better due to what they replace the swearing with

A friend who lives there told me that in Dubai all references to Israel or Jews are taken out on TV, apparently some old Sienfeld episodes are a little confusing and short.

The 6pm versions of Big Bang Theory are bad enough, they don't bother with any of that dubbing nonsense they just cut the footage - whole conversations lose all meaning.

Anyway, Skyfall > QoS, but pretty much anything is better than QoS, I hope the new one is good, DC is my favourite Bond, but all but Casino Royal has been fairly crap.

But of course, we all know that was in Die Another Day.

If they cut edit out 2hrs of it, would be better.

To answer your question , it's probably that they have TV version on their system that was previously shown at tea time.

They are getting revved up for spectre. Got to be ITV.

Do yourself a favour and go and see Sicario instead.

Well, I am happy to stand up for all of the 3 recent Bond films and I'm looking forward to Spectre, a lot.

I think they have done a great job of shrugging off the 'Carry on Bond' vibe that so many have fallen foul of.

I do agree that Die Another Day was total pony.
