........ replied to nor viewed?

Had about thirty mails dating from last week through till today notifying me of various topics.

I'm pretty sure I've not asked to be notified of anything.

System broken? Hamsters on Meth?

I got a random one last week, suggesting I'd "subscribed" to a thread. I certainly don't recall having done so. I just Unsubscribed and haven't had any since

Can't imagine that I had subscribed to so many random threads.... 🤔

I've been mostly sober for the last ten days thanks to the flu.

Has anyone found a way to globally turn these notifications off for all topics?

I accidentally ticked that little box on a thread, no matter how many times I went back to switch it off I still got the emails and it was still ticked when I went back in.

You can find all the topics or forums you are subscribed to here: https://singletrackmag.com/user/?profiletab=forums&subnav=subscriptions .
From there you can unsubscribe to them as well. If you have any troubles or still get emails after changing which topics/forums you are subscribed to, contact us at tech-support@singletrackworld.com.

OP - if you;re getting notifications about topics you've not been involved in chances are.... - just at the top of the main forum pages  - above and to the right of 'Forum Help' theres links there to 'Favourite' and 'Subscribe' that can be accidentally clicked as you navigate the page. If its showing 'unsubscribe' rather than 'subscribe' for any of the forum overviews it means you've accidentally subscribed to that whole forum rather than an individual thread - that means you get an email every time someone starts a new topic.

I clicked on my own profile and ended up on Tom's account page. Posting this to see if it comes from my account or his 🙂

Yeah, that's how it's supposed to work.

Its certainly exciting  to discover that I'm younger and better looking than than I'd realised. Same shirt too, so it must be me.

As in, I'm now logged on as alpin... Click on my account profile and always end up on Tom's page....

Still getting emails, too.

Cheers! Took me a while to find it!

I was wrong about the position of that link - go to the various main forum pages (the overview, bike, chat) and look below where the Forum Help link is and there will be a little link that either says 'Subscribe' or 'Unsubscribe' - if its the latter click that and you'll stop getting emails for that forum.

EDIT - you found it - cool.

So do I. If I type my username into the url in place of Tom's I get my profile, but then if I click the 'Profile' menu I get Tom's again.

Would somebody who hasn't clicked Tom's link report what happens if the click their own Profile menu?

I hadn’t clicked tom’s link - I’d gone to my own profile to find a thread from yesterday but only get tom and his threads
