It used to show it but now doesn't, any ideas IT folk?

Windows 7 OS (i think)

You don't say which browser you have but if Firefox try [b]Options[/b], [b]Privacy[/b] and see if there is a tick against 'Remember my browsing history'.

Its IE. I have not turned it off, well knowingly anyway.

Would it have anything to do with AVG Free PC tune up thingy?

Which version of IE?

I'm using IE9 on W7 and the same thing is happenning here... the settings are as they should be. I'm sure there was a windows update recently but can't be sure if it was happenning before then... I haven't found an answer yet....

on the setting "keep history for x days" what's that set to?

Wife uses the laptop (seperate log in), just checked the settings and the history is set to 20 days.

Bit confusing really.

Is Delete Browsing History on Exit ticked??

AVG Free PC tune up

some of those things will delete "anything" to show how much space they've retrieved. It's certainly an option on CCleaner

No its not set to delete on exit.

PC Tune Up is now removed.

Just checked todays history and its all there currently, so have deleted it and will check on future use.
