I was away two weeks ago, walking around the cobbled streets of Lviv in leather-soled dress shoes. At some point, the top of my right foot, just above the big toe started to hurt. Sort of a dull throb that would go away when I was in bed, and took about an hour to return the next day after I put my shoes back on.
Two weeks on, it still hurts, but only when I have walked alot, or held my foot in one position for too long, such as when I am sitting at the desk.
I wouldn't worry about it, but when it does hurt, it hurts alot.
Could I have broken a metatarsal without realising it? If so, how could I have done it just by walking? If not, any idea as to what's wrong with me?
Bunion?
Aren't bunions visible? I have normal-shaped feet. A bit hobbit-like, mind, but ostensibly normal.
Have you dropped an anvil on it? Or had it run over by a Ford Transit?
