I have Sky broardband and when it all works its quite quick.

But my laptop seems unable to keep the connection to the hub and thus is nearly always says 'limited access' and sometimes i dont appear to be connected to the Internet. Its like they are both on a different wavelength and cant get on with each other.

My iphone never has this problem.

Is there anything i can do about it?

I'm not an expert by any means but at a guess either an IP conflict or interference from another device.

Can you find the IPs of all the devices and can you change the channel the hub is using?

Well, did that not fix it?

Have you tried changing the WiFi channel?

We had a similar problem with our MacBook and our bt home hub. It turned out it was the Mac not being able to make its mind up whether to connect to the 2.4 or the 5 ghz channel. The solution was to go into the admin page for the home hub and rename the channels so you could identify which was which. Then just log into the 2.4ghz one. Solved it straight away. I know you have neither a Mac or a home hub but it could be something similar. Maybe. Perhaps. Possibly.
