Salty and sweet combined. So wrong, yet so very, very right.

My other half always asked for a "mixed popcorn" at the cinema.

Flipper, I bought myself a bag at a branch of Whole Foods Market. Also available in Waitrose.

Oh, and a bottle of Arrogant Bastard.

Which is EXACTLY the correct response for what is one of the most astonishing snack foods of recent times.

First time I tried it it was UGH-NOMNOMNOM-UGH-NOMNOMNOM-UGH-NOMNOMNOM-EKK-UGH-NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM.

Bizarrely, it has had the same response from me EVERY time I have had it since. Never experienced a food that so constantly surprises me even though I know what's coming.

Just as bizarrely, our local Londis offie stocks the stuff.

Culinary genius.

Peasant.

Wait until you venture north, to the proper north and have chips and gravy from a proper chippy.

...and the reason no one told you is because you are southern.

Happy to help!

Every time we have microwave salted popcorn at home, the Mrs sprinkles sugar all over it. Food of the gods!
