Looking at a wall cabinet for the bathroom

Almost all of them I've seen are melamine covered chipboard

How come they cost between £200-500?

I don't understand the pricing at all

I'm not fussed bout how my house looks as long as it is functional so i went scavenging at the dump, got a cabinet, fancy wall light, and complete pristine white bathroom suite including taps/fittings etc for nowt - not a mark or scratch on anything and it's only for washing the dirt from me and shitting in so it does me fine.

I'd rather spend my paltry income on stuff that matters to me such as bike stuff or malt whisky 😀
