sorry to be an idiot but just wondering why they are exempt from paying the energy rebate vouchers to people?

i have a british gas gas prepayment meter and will be paying £60.00 odd quid every fortnight on it so the voucher would have been most welcome.

british gas in their replies just come across as a smug organization who care nothing but for profits (am on esa payments so am not rich) obviously stating the obvious about them.

thanks in advance

Possibly because the rebate is only paid via your electricity provider.

The payment is per household, not per supply, so doing it via the electricity provider only, as some people don't have gas, ensures no one gets paid double

I had the energy bill support scheme credit into my Ecotricity account, only for it to taken back out a week later as "repayment"?
