As for me, I’m considering doing it tomorrow after it drying out in the mini Easter Heatwave but you know that once you start….
Ours has been scarified, vented and cur several times already.
I'm waiting until after Paris-Roubaix.
We’re talking grass right!? Or is this about staying respectable at the mid ride cafe stop in summer Lycra?
I took the blower over the astroturf front and back yesterday, job done, 15 mins.
Nope... But I did grade 0 my hair yesterday to get scalp sunburn. 😉
2nd cut having previously scarifier, fed and cut a few weeks ago. I like cutting grass.
Nope, more fun things to do than the equivalent of hoovering outside.
Nope, mine's parking spots. Yippeee!
I ran the mower over our mud patch yesterday
Was mowing grass in November and December. Started in earnest this ‘season’ back at beginning of March
Cut number three going down today. Get the feeling it’ll be a weekly occurrence now for the rest of the summer. Damn you Mr Green Thumb.
Mine is being left for the bees; it’s mostly daisies and dandelions anyway. I’ll keep a short path to the shed but the rest can do what it wants.
The noisy c*** next door is doing his, cuts it every 20 min throughout the summer the t**t. I leave ours rustic to keep the Universe in balance.
Maybe today. Maybe tomorrow.
First cut was yesterday, I've got lots of wild flowers so I leave those bits alone and cut on the highest setting to allow more flowers to grow back in the coming weeks
Just done the tiny front bits on ours and our elderly neighbour next door, was getting untidy, so a quick mow and a strim next to the walls, once it’s had a couple of goes it’ll settle down and look ok. Out back the plants are coming in, the lavender and the hot lips really do get the bees in, so looking forward to a beer and a bbq surrounded by the tranquil zzzzzzzzz of insects going about their business.
I thought about cutting mine. Then I realised, I don't have one, so I'm going to go sit in the yard with a beer instead. Happy mowing!
Mine has just had its third cut of the year now I’m sat in the sun with a tin of cream soda. Mmmm

Inspired by this I opted to do mine .... With the 2 stroke.
Well after some bike fettling, I've trimmed my bush but will leave the lawn to dry for another 24hrs until after a bike ride in the morning.
Mowed mine 4 times already!
First high cuts were done end of February, been mowing regularly since then , some of my gardens want a cut every 5 days on the formal lawns . My own gets cut weekly.
Let’s see all that freshly manicured loveliness please then ! 😁

I cut it today. The grass. I cut the grass. It's far from a lawn. The thought of manicuring a lawn it makes me shudder.
Sure.

Cut mine a few times this year already. Scarified twice too.
Shouldn't I have started already?
Been in France for 3 weeks now.. did the last cut before heading home... It could be quite long before we get back.
Let’s see all that freshly manicured loveliness please then
Cut yesterday for 4th time this year. Due to wife's design there is not a single straight edge anywhere so a joy to mow, with mowers loving curved edges so much!

About a dozen of these keep my grass millimetre perfect - I only have to mow the small patch inside the 6ft fence. A few of the hinds are in calf, so will have a few ‘spares’ if anyone wants one - buyer collects 🤣
Let it grow! A few paths through to show it’s a design and you’re not just lazy. Wildlife will benefit, your wallet/purse will save money and the environment too through lower energy use.
My neighbour came round yesterday offering to cut our shared front lawn, using our mower. As there are primrose, cowslips and orchids on it I declined. He has history for destroying stuff or losing stuff I lend him. My major concern though is that he cuts his grass three times a week, no good for anything that might be living - plant, insect, bird or mammal.
Nope …. Council do it for me 🤗 … we’ll the bit of communal grass outside the flat
But I did get to the allotment for an afternoon of attacking weeds and enteral pottering 🤗🤗
Compromise here. Wild stuff gets a laid hedge round the boundary and one third of the lawn. The rest is mowed short. Fourth or so mow here as well - looking okay. Getting a dog tomorrow so expect that will be the end of teh neatness!
no need, mrs did it last weekend.....well she wanted a garden!!
I was going to do mine today but did some trail building instead, maybe tomorrow.
I sort of intend to do first cut this w/e but means I’ll have to go out and fight for unleaded armed with a Jerry can, and I’m not sure I can cope with that stress/stigma.
Was going to cut my modest lawn today but decided not to create a racket on Easter Sunday. Also, neighbours two doors down were having a chavvy BBQ thus stinking the place out, which helped me decide to stay inside.
Second cut of the year today. After I finished cutting the still damp grass the dog decided to roll on it... 🤣

Missed a trick there 😉
No cutting for the Northern meadow until we harvest the hay.
I've only gone as far as the ha-ha this year
