I have a pain below my knee to the right on my shin bit, caused by running I think. How does it get better and how long, should I be stretching it, Experiences Please, thank you.

I get it now & then, after longish walks usually (I don't run)
I think my problem is overstriding and I try to shorten my stride consciously - when I remember. No idea if that helps avoid the "injury" but it certainly makes it hurt less once the pain's there

I have it when my calves are tight. Give them a stretch and in this cold weather warm up inside before you set off
