brant's just tweeted this.

I hope he's still going to be designing bikes and winding up people on here, wherever he's moving onto...or is it some sort of 'back to shedfire but designing for on-one/titus/etc' thing?

I knew things were going wrong when I got a Linkedin notification this morning to say Brant had endorsed me. That means he's been on that site polishing his Linked-In profile 😉

Does anyone actually blame the poor guy for leaving if true?
I actually felt pity for him.
Some of the customer services stories sor planet x/ on one were shocking.
I remember he was in a funeral on one of the posts trying to sort another mess.

Planet X customer services are in great shape, as is the company.
It just felt like the right time for me to move on.

It's been an amazing three years at Planet X, and some amazing people there working on new things which will continue to blow it all to bits.

Cheers. A couple of beers tonight.

As another poster who's been feeling sorry for him lately 🙁 having had some excellent debates/run-ins with him over the years 😈 I now just wish to say: Good luck with whatever comes next, Brant !

Bike designers shouldn't be wasting time on CS and delivery issues. Never been part of the Brant fanboi army but his talents are wasted firefighting on here, and his efforts reflected well on him not on P-X as a company.

This. I'm surprised it's taken so long. Assuming it was his call - t

There's been changes at the top recently....

EDIT: The horse's mouth spoke as I was typing. Best wishes for the next thing Brant.

While I am sure things are nowhere near as bad as some make out, that's a lot of eggs you just put in the pudding.

I hope he continues to design bikes! I also wonder what he will do next.

I'm sure he'll brand his own 27.5 Codine type bike and make millions without having bureaucratic bullshit behind him promising parts at release and downgrading at delivery beyond his control.

Good luck with whatever you do Brant, you have consistently been great on here no matter what has gone on in your personal life, thanks for what you have done for mountain biking, so far...

Cheers.

I'm gong to offer up my support for Brant. Whilst I've never ridden nor owned one of his bikes I think he deserves a helluva lot of praise for bringing bikes that folks love/like/want to own and enjoy owning.

Best of luck with your next move.

😀

Good luck with whatever you do, Brant. Out of the four bikes I own, two are On-One frames, and those two are keepers, the other two I would part with if necessary, with few regrets.
